The hacker says that he was ordered to hack Sarif by Zhao Yun Ru, the woman who runs Tai Yong Medical. He confronts the hacker over his involvement in the hack during the Sarif attack, and Van Bruggen readily admits that it was him, and that doing so was the worst mistake he ever made, because he's now on the run from Belltower. Tong tells him that Van Bruggen is at a capsule hotel called the Alice Garden Pods, and sends him on his way.Īdam heads to the Alice Garden Pods and finds Van Bruggen.
Tong tells him to come down to his office so they can talk further.ĭownstairs, Tong mocks Adam for his association with Sarif Industries, who he claims are one of many biotech firms failing with their investments in augmentations. Adam eventually ascertains that the bartender is Tong, and convinces him that they could do a lot by pooling their information and helping him find the location of Van Bruggen. The bartender plays dumb and tries to insult Adam for being an outsider, and an argument ensues. Inside, he finds a bartender in the VIP Lounge and asks where Tong is. Adam finds the Hive and sneaks in through a back entrance.
